  • Arsyan Mohamad Virio Andreyana: Energy System Modeller and Southeast Asia regional lead at OET. Contributor to the development of PyPSA and its ecosystem. Graduate of TU Berlin.

  • Fillea Fakhira: A Master’s student in Renewable Energy Systems at TU Berlin and a researcher at Reiner Lemoine Institut on grid integration of renewables in Southeast Asia.

  • Sophia Bernadette Lunor: A Master’s student in Energy Engineering at UP Diliman, specializing in energy systems modeling and transnational energy transitions in Southeast Asia.

  • Paul Bertheau: A PhD researcher focused on sustainable energy for Philippine islands, specializing in off-grid planning and renewable energy transitions in Southeast Asia.

Initial Organization Contributors

  • Open Energy Transition: The core developers of PyPSA and its ecosystem, supporting work with ENTSO-E, ACER, and national TSOs through model customization, data pipelines, open datasets, and training.

  • Technical University of Berlin: The Department of Digital Transformation in Energy Systems (ENSYS) developes PyPSA: an open-source energy system model to study renewable integration, sector coupling, and energy system transformation.

  • University of the Philippines Diliman: The Philippines’ premier national research university, shaping sustainable energy futures through a multidisciplinary and technically advanced Energy Engineering program.

  • Reiner Lemoine Institut: RLI is an independent, non-profit research institute advancing a 100% renewable energy future through open-source modeling, data-driven analysis, and practical projects in Germany and beyond.
